The North Dakota Wheat Commission and North Dakota Mill presented Sage Hill Bed and Breakfast, rural Anamoose, with the 2000 Breadwinner Award for leadership in serving distinctive, high-quality bread.

A husband and wife team, Brad Mincher and Jacqueline Fix opened the bed and breakfast in 1996 in a remodeled three-story country schoolhouse.  Bread is a prominent part of the meal at Sage Hill. Whether it’s a cozy dinner for two served on the “Landing” with a view of the countryside, or a party of  70, patrons can expect a gourmet cuisine and freshly baked bread.
